Grace-Ezra 9:8 AMP

And now, for a brief moment, grace has been shown us by the LORD our GOD, Who has left us a remnant to escape and has given us a secure hold in HIS holy place, that our GOD may brighten our eyes and give us a little reviving in our bondage.

I enjoy the word “now” because it lets me know that I don’t have to wait, there is no need for preparation. It’s a word which means presently, not in the past or in the future but now at this very moment in time without delay. We don’t know when JESUS will return and it’s not meant for us to enjoy life only in heaven. When JESUS lives in us and we live in JESUS we have the ability to be just as JESUS was when HE walked the earth. The FATHER GOD has given us Grace through CHRIST JESUS. We can escape from our current life style choices because we have this promise in 1 Cor. 10:13, No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but GOD is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation HE will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. When we accept JESUS as our Savior, we become citizens of heaven; our eyes are no longer blinded to righteousness, we begin to see the truth. You maybe a CHRISTian who is still struggling with some type of addiction/bondage; I’m telling you that you must believe that you are a “new creation” old things have passed away from you. You are not defined by your past; you are defined by the Word of GOD. You belong to CHRIST JESUS and you don’t need to continue to live the way you have been living; you no longer need to call yourself whatever it is you are being labeled. Now in this very moment you will rise up and walk as JESUS intended you to walk, you will speak as JESUS intended you to speak, allow your faith in CHRIST JESUS to make you whole. See JESUS being judged on the cross for you and with that judgment there is the addiction/bondage that you have never released to JESUS. Once you see that the addiction/bondage that you are living with has already been judged on the cross with JESUS you will be free from the addiction/bondage/slavery. JESUS did not come to judge the world but to save the world. Those who do not know JESUS are invited to come to HIM; those who have already accepted JESUS but are still struggling with life; you are invited to come to JESUS not for salvation but for deliverance from your works. Deliverance from yourself; trust in the LORD, feed on HIS faithfulness. HE gives grace anew daily as well as often throughout the day. Stop judging yourself and surrender yourself to JESUS and allow HIM to work through you.
