Ah, heaven it’s a beautiful thought to know that some of us will be going there. And it’s a sad thought to know that some people by choice will not get there. But what is incredible to me is that most people who believe in heaven believe that this is the place that they will remain eternally and the bible does not support that. Uh-oh, I’ve shaken up some readers now. Did not GOD create a garden and call it Eden and it was paradise for mankind? Was this not the place where mankind was to spend eternity? Okay, now that I’ve gotten your attention.
In the book of Revelation, we are to be taught that there will be a new heaven and earth. The world will not be created again, however, it will be newly opened only to the heirs. In our glorified bodies which are spiritual and heavenly not fleshy, they will be suited for those bright and pure mansions JESUS prepared for us. This world as we know it passed away/came to an end. Just as JESUS made all things new in the beginning of creation, JESUS will make all things new again because HE is faithful and true. Heaven will descend and we will live in Eden/Paradise as originally planned.
To every soul that receives JESUS as their personal LORD and Savior it is promised to us that today, meaning that very day that we received HIS free gift of salvation. We were written in the Lamb’s book of life and we have a reservation to be with HIM in Paradise. JESUS told this to the thief who hung on the cross beside HIM who did not reject HIM and it was so, but the one who did reject JESUS, that soul died and went straight to hell and the lake of fire.
Yes, it is true that now up in heaven where the FATHER and JESUS are is Paradise but this is not where it or they will remain. And neither will we.
We are overcomers, why? Because JESUS overcame for us in all things and we believed that. We don’t over think it, we just take it. Now right now in our earthly bodies, our eating from the tree of life which is in the middle of Eden/Paradise of GOD is our eating the Word of GOD and communicating and following HIS directions. Our not reading and studying the Word of GOD or communicating daily with the FATHER or following HIS directions is the appreciation of trusting you and not HIM. It’s the continuation of the Adamic nature which is a sin of leaning on our own understanding and not acknowledging the Holy Spirit because we don’t trust Him to instruct us.
As Paradise is described in the book of Revelation, I’m looking forwarded to living there.
