Jeremiah 10:23 MSG
I know, God, that mere mortals can’t run their own lives. That men and women don’t have what it takes to take charge of life.
I chose to use the Message translation of the Bible because the words are all too fitting to what I will like to share today.
People are mortals to a degree; the flesh will die this makes us mortals. Our spirit goes on; whether we acknowledge JESUS or not our spirit goes on. When we fail to acknowledge JESUS; Repent and Confess out of our hearts when we die on earth our spirits will live a life of death in hell (the lake of fire). When we do acknowledge JESUS; Repent and Confess out of our hearts when we die on earth our spirits will continue to live an abundant life in heaven. Hebrews 9:27 informs us that death comes once.
However; it is wonderful to know that GOD has in mind a special plan for all of HIS children. When we devote our lives to HIM, HE directs our paths. Sometimes we misjudge and fall into mistakes. But that’s ok; don’t allow the enemy to beat you up about it. The natural thing to do is when we fall we get back up on our feet; dust ourselves off and keep it moving. When remain knocked down; tripped up and fall to the ground it’s not natural to remain there but most of us do because of self-doubt and condemnation which all come from the enemy. Don’t be like those actors on TV that proclaim “they have fallen and can’t get up”! Mistakes happen; we are human and GOD does not hold grudges because we make mistakes. After all HE knows all; we can’t catch HIM off guard or surprise HIM. The person we surprise and catch off guard is ourselves. Get this not only in your head but in your heart; “What belongs to GOD will not be lost”; GOD does come and get us.GOD; JESUS; LOVE; PEACE; JOY; KINDNESS; ENCOURAGE; ENCOURAGEMENT; TENDERNESS
