It comprises the whole future of the redeemed and is opposed to “eternal punishment”. It is the final reward and glory into which the children of GOD enter. The newness of life which the believer derives from CHRIST is the very essence of salvation, and hence the life of glory or the eternal life must also be theirs. It is the “gift of GOD in JESUS CHRIST our LORD”. It becomes a life without beginning or end.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD.
Eternal life will be had by each and every person. However, there are two sides to this you can choose to have eternal life with JESUS CHRIST who Is LORD to the believer. Or you can have eternal life with satan who you chose to be your lord.
- When GOD created us, HE said “let US make man in OUR image;” GOD created man in HIS own image. Genesis 1:26-27
So now we must ask ourselves what is GOD’s image?
- For there are three that bear witness in heaven: The FATHER; The WORD & The Holy Spirit; these three are One. 1 John 5:7
- The FATHER: GOD creator of all.
- The WORD: JESUS
- The Holy Spirit: The Comforter or Spirit of GOD.
As you can see GOD is three in one. So are we: flesh (dirt); soul (emotions; mind & will) & spirit. When we accept JESUS our spirit becomes alive and we have to align our soul to the will of GOD by starving our flesh of its desires.
Not accepting JESUS means that you live for satan and the outcome will be everlasting punishment.
And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:46
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:15
I can go on and on covering this topic. One thing I try to do when I send out words of encouragement is to keep it short and an easy read. What I like most about eternal life is that I don’t have to wait to die on this side of heaven to enjoy all of what GOD has planned for me. I can enjoy my life right here on earth. When I am short on finances I don’t wig out by worrying or becoming anxious. I simple go to the FATHER and let HIM know that I need HIS help financially. I begin to seek out some scriptures on the topic and wait on the LORD. When my body wants to act rebellious by craving something it can’t have or I have a symptom that does not allow me to perform as well as I would like to. I simple go to the FATHER and search out the scriptures. I remember the promise given to me that I walk in victory. GOD will never leave me nor forsake me. I am healed. GOD provides a way of escape in times of temptation. I don’t know if I will ever have as much money as athletes or entertainers, however, I never want for anything. My eternal life does not have a beginning or an ending. I am created in the image of my FATHER. HE is KING and I am a Princess. Ever see a broke; busted and disgusted member of Royalty?
If you are an American and live in America; why do we buy into what the government has to say about finances? We can’t be as much in debt as they claim because the President and everyone in his cabinet are getting paid millions of dollars. America continues to run to the rescue of countries that do not have. America is a providing country. We don’t have a money problem; America has a sin problem.
If for any reason you do not accept that there really is life after death do some research.
We have this assurance. Those who die in the LORD will live, their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead. Isaiah 26:19
GOD loved the world so much that HE gave HIS only SON, so that everyone who believes in HIM will not perish but have eternal life.
