Faith

Its primary idea is trust. A thing is true, and therefore worthy of trust.

The short of it all is to believe without proof of seeing what is.

For example: You cannot say that you have faith that you are male. Take off your clothes the evidence is there.

You cannot say that you have faith that you are alive. You are breathing.

Neither one of those will work in faith because you can see that it is so.

However, you can say I have faith that in my future I will attend college; I have faith that I will be successful. You are speaking about your future and not your present state.

Now faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

There should never be a question as to “is there a GOD” because the evidence is everywhere you look. (First chapter of Genesis). No man could or can do what has been done. No man could or can die for the entire world and come back to be seen by many then seen going into heaven without any equipment. (Luke 23:46 & 24:51)

People will believe in things that they don’t understand; yet, to believe that GOD is; is unbelievable to us. Faith is not a hard thing to have. We all are created; born and equipped to believe and have faith in something.

Another great example is this: When you were born; though you may have had the ability to see and hear. You cannot honestly say that the woman or man that you have called Mother and Father are actually the parents you were born from. You accepted by faith that they are who they say they are because this is what you have been told and taught over and over again until you came into that knowledge. When you got older you saw a legal certificate of birth that has the name of the same two people and you claiming that you three are one unit; mother, father and child. Now today we can challenge that to make sure that we are who we say we are with the help of DNA. However, how many of us are really willing to go against what we have been acquainted with all of our lives to make sure that who we are is true? It is by faith that has developed our belief to the knowledge of knowing without reservation that our parents are actually who we come from. For those who are adopted you are in the same boat as those who are not adopted. You were not born biologically from your parents. However, none the less you are the child and heir to your parents. Also, you are not alone and you should think of yourself to be double blessed. You were chosen by your earthly parents and GOD chose you to be HIS kid as well. Ephesians 1:5

Okay now that we know that faith has been a part of our lives since the beginning; stop wondering about having faith in GOD.

Believe in the LORD JESUS and you will be saved. Acts 16:31

Faith is very important as a non-believer and crucial as a believer.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1

It is impossible to please GOD without faith. Anyone who wants to come to HIM must believe that GOD exists and that HE rewards those who sincerely seek HIM. Hebrews 11:6

You can also strengthen your faith.

Let your roots grow down into HIM, and let your lives be built on HIM. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:7

If you are going to have faith in anyone; that faith should be in GOD. HE will never let you down.

Have faith in GOD. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, “May you be lifted up and thrown in the sea,” and it will happen. However, you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. Mark 11:22-23

We are better off than those who lived and walked with or saw JESUS when HE walked this earth amongst people.

Blessed are those who believe and have faith in ME without seeing ME. John 20:29
