Forgiveness – Mark 3:28-30

“Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation” because they said, “HE has an unclean spirit.”

What great news; for the sinner to find out. All my sins have been forgiven; committed and uncommitted sins have been forgiven. Well, why would I need to be forgiven of a crime that I have not committed? Because of this fact; we are all shaped and formed in iniquity (sin); Psalms 51:5. Which means; whether we perform certain sins or not; due to our nature is the very essence of sin and darkness; we are guilty. Our spirit man is dead to or from the truth and we are led by our desires and passions of the flesh which are the brain, internal organs, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, arms, hands, torso, sexual organs, legs, feet, and arms. Our emotions lead us astray; we can will to do what is right or what is wrong and often times we will to do what is wrong. Our mind is dark and often times we think wrong thoughts; we look at something far too long that opens the flood gates to wrong thinking and desires. Familiar smells will begin the craving of something that we want but know we should not have. We listen to conversations that are not bringing forth life; but magnify death. Our speech is that of lies, gossip, curses and profanity. We reach for things that don’t belong to us; we walk or run towards trouble. We use our sexual organs like it’s a 7/11 convenience store; we pierce, mark and mutilate our bodies as if our bodies are canvases. When actuality they are temples; but we have made it clear that our temples are filled with idols and we do foul things in and with it. However, we can be forgive and are forgiven.  Galatians 5:19-21 clearly states what the works of the flesh are; and yet we are forgiven of them all. So that we can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. And if you would really study that scripture we will see that we are guilty of sin and are sin beings. I’m not a murderer but I was a sinner and though I have never thought to murder anyone; nor have I actually committed that act. I was just as guilty as if I had; in the eyes of the LORD GOD. The sins that I did commit are not different than the sins that someone else have committed. The LORD GOD does not measure one sin this way or that way; sin is sin and they are all punishable and will keep us out of the Kingdom of Heaven. This is why it is required that we come to the LORD GOD understanding that we have been trying to establish our own righteousness and not submitting to the righteousness of the LORD GOD. Primarily because we did not know what the righteousness of the LORD GOD is. JESUS told Nicodemus in John 3:6 that whoever is born of flesh is flesh and whoever is born of spirit is spirit. Which means; that all mankind must be born again. I always say that we all must be born again because we did not get it right the first time. JESUS explained to Nicodemus the twofold method that will take place once we have come forward to the LORD GOD and confess that we are sinners; and believe that JESUS is the SON the only begotten beloved SON of the LORD GOD and we openly confess that with our mouth. The Holy Spirit will come and wash us clean; HE will remove all of the filthiness and idols from us. The Holy Spirit will give us a new heart and put a new spirit within us; one that is alive and awake; the Holy Spirit will give us a new heart and take away that hard heart that does not love and is bent on doing wrong. Then JESUS has promised that HE will place HIS own Spirit which is the Holy Spirit inside of us who will witness to us constantly about JESUS and give us power to be and do in CHRIST JESUS. This same Holy Spirit will cause us to live according to the spirit and not the flesh as found in Galatians 5:22-23 for we have now become crucified with JESUS in the flesh and no longer are carried away by our own desires and passions. But we are now living in the Spirit and we will walk according to the Holy Spirit; freely because we are aware that we are forgiven. Many of you; just like me have often wondered just what is the unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit? Well before I finally reveal to you what has taken me 35 years to find out; let me explain what blasphemy is. Blasphemy is speaking irreverence against the LORD GOD; in the form of speaking abusively; the denial of JESUS being the SON of the LORD GOD; the MESSIAH. Those things will be forgiven; but, saying that the Holy Spirit Himself is actually satan, a demon or that JESUS is possessed by a demon. That will not be forgiven. At no time is it permitted to speak slander against the Holy Spirit. The LORD GOD will not tolerate anyone who will speak insults and speak offensively about or to the Holy Spirit.
