Oh how spectacular to know that we have a GOD that hears us when we speak, see’s our tears and will heal us from all that causes us to be ill. Our GOD is not a GOD of the sick or the dead. Our GOD is compassionate and full of mercy. If we have so much as a sniffle due to allergies or a cold; our GOD will heal us if we would only ask HIM to and believe that we have been delivered from those symptoms. About a year ago; I challenged some people to turn away from television commercials that had anything to do with illness. Keep away from holding conversations with others about illness and confess within their hearing that they are healed and that no sickness or disease was to overtake them. Well, unfortunately I did not have any takers and as they continued to get sick; I remained sick free. I’m guilty of falling asleep with the television on; so what I try to practice is to set the timer to automatically turn the television off. I do this because I have learned that our flesh is what sleeps not our spirit. Our brain does not stop thinking because we can’t hear our thoughts; our ears don’t stop hearing because we don’t consciously hear the sounds just as our other important organs don’t stop but will continue to perform as they were designed to. I don’t get to hear and have negative commercials enter my subconscious. My faith does not increase in colds, flu, body aches or other forms of commercials that infiltrate our sub-consciousness. Also while I’m awake when negative commercials come on I will either change the channel or press mute. We become what we consistently hear. So if we consistently remind ourselves that the LORD has said to us that HE hears us when we speak to HIM that HE see’s our distress and tears and that HE will heal us. Then there will be no way that diseases and illnesses of any type will latch itself onto us and hang on. It will come and bounce off, come and slide off or come and because the Word of GOD has built a barrier around us will not be able to enter our bodies. Humans cry for two reasons; we are overjoyed or filled with sorrow which causes us pain. I wish that more humans cried due to being joyful rather than being filled with pain; however, the LORD our GOD will wipe our tears away. HE will not just watch us cry and shake HIS head because HE feels helpless. No, our GOD is not helpless HE is helpful and tender hearted. What parents want to sit or stand by and watch their child suffer? We have a great DADDY and HE will comfort us. The GOD that I worship is a healer. The LORD GOD heals the broken hearted and will heal all our wounds. So where is your faith? Is it in the seasons which bring on certain illness which are meant for the unsaved? Or is it in the LORD your GOD who saves the sick because of faith?
