REFRESHMENT

Live Life Outside The Box!

We live our lives not according to the desire of GOD but to the desire of the world. We care more about what our family has planned for our lives than for the dreams and the visions that we see for our lives. What our family desires for us in and of itself can be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on the dream and vision we have for our own life. We care more for what our environmental community expects of us than what we expect from ourselves. We feel overwhelmed by the plans that our family make for our lives to be a Lawyer, Doctor or go into the family business. When we think about or get a taste of what our desire is for our life it’s like drinking ice tea on a hot summer day. We are refreshed! Too bad its short lived. When we don’t live our lives according to the desires of our hearts; when we go against the grain for what we have been hard wired for; our lives become routine and we become worn out. We are not happy where we are. We continually say things like “if only I” or “when I do or get”. None of that really matters because we must remain true to who we are. What am I saying? If you love junk then you may be refreshed dealing in second hand retail for others. One persons junk is another person’s treasure. If you hate injustice; maybe you will become refreshed by becoming a police officer; an attorney or get into some type of political employment where you can benefit the people. Only you know what your passion is in life and only you can make it happen. You will never live a life where you will be refreshed as long as you settle for a life where you just survive; where you don’t believe that you are making a difference in this world. Make up your mind that you will no longer live a life which is hum drum or routine. Cause your life to be exciting to you; allow people to see that you are doing what you were designed to do. When you are refreshed you can refresh another.

The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25
