“You have also given me the shield of YOUR salvation; YOUR gentleness has made me great.
The shield of our salvation is our shield of faith in CHRIST JESUS. JESUS and HIS Word will repel the activity of sin and negativity from us. Our part is to believe and trust not in part but in full. Our part is to read the Word of GOD and apply HIS Word to our life. Allow JESUS to transform you from who we used to be to who HE said we are in HIM. One of the garments that are given to us is HIS shield of salvation/faith. The operation of the shield is to stop weapons from hitting its mark which is us. The weapons come from the enemy who is satin and his demons and the weapons are negative. However, the good news is the bad news is a lie. You know what they are; “no one cares or loves us; we are ugly; we are stupid or dumb and do this everyone is doing it.” There are many other negative quotations I could have written but why write those when it’s far more important to know what JESUS has and is saying to us. “Before we were in our mother’s womb, GOD knew us; we are created fearfully and wonderfully; we are created in the image of GOD; GOD loved people so very much that HE gave HIS only beloved, begotten SON JESUS, that we may have eternal life” and there is so much more. But you have to read the Word of GOD so that you can see for yourself that you are loved with an awesome love and not only that. But when you hear, believe and receive JESUS into your life as your personal Savior; HE will forgive you of your past, present and future. Our love for JESUS will drive us to obey HIS Word. And in HIS Word, HE will show us how to properly use the shield of salvation/faith. We no longer have to walk around feeling as though we are alone, that we are unloved, that no one wants us, that we are ugly. We are beautiful because we belong to CHRIST JESUS and we are HIS reflection. So let’s not allow the enemy to infiltrate our minds with all his negative mumbo jumbo; transform your minds in the Word of GOD. Walk according to HIS Word and not the word of your family and associates. Let’s show people the true CHRIST. Use the shield of salvation/faith and be that great person GOD said that you are because of HIS gentleness for you. Know that as JESUS is so are we in this world.
