How many of you believe you are going to heaven just because you believe you are a good person?

Well, I’m here to tell you the truth; it’s a lie that we’ve been told and that we believed. No person will ever enter into heaven on the merits of being a good person for this simple reason.

JESUS said in Lk.18:19 “Why do you call ME good? No one is good but ONE; that is GOD.” So unless we are the Most High GOD and we are not there is nothing good about us.

What if GOD HIMself asked us individually why HE should allow us into heaven? What would we say? Could any of us answer without hesitation or uncertainty for just a second of a moment? Be honest with yourself.

The thing is the answer is in the Bible and people like myself spend their lives telling others about the Good News about how to be sure that we get into heaven and how to enjoy all that heaven has for us right here on earth before we leave earth. We don’t have to wait for any great bye and bye; what the heck is that anyway?

I want and you should  want too all that GOD has to offer us right here and now. And did you know that’s just what GOD wants to give us? Yes, JESUS came to give us the abundance of life; HE is our Great Overcomer so we can be called Overcomers as well.

Let me tell you something; the flesh is temporary; when we die its going back to the dust regardless of how it’s gotten rid of through burial or cremation. The soul is what needs an eternal home and we are the ones who are responsible for providing a home for our souls. If we don’t trust in JESUS our soul will be tormented forever in hell. Then there is the spirit which is eternal; this will live regardless. We are a tri-part being flesh (dust of the ground); soul (mind, will and emotional) and spirit (GOD breathed).

1John 5:13 tells us that we do have eternal life.

Salvation is our free gift; we can’t earn it and we don’t deserve it. No amount of personal effort in works we put forth will matter to GOD. Religiosity is a cult but a personal relationship with the SON of GOD who is The CHRIST; JESUS is HIS name is what matters to GOD.

Every single human born on the planet with the exception of JESUS was born a sinner. Romans 3:23 tells us that all have sinned and we have all fallen short of the glory of GOD.

We can’t change ourselves totally I don’t care how many self-help books we read; classes we attend; programs we watch or self effort we attempt cold turkey. There is only so much change we can accomplish outwardly. A true and complete change comes from the inward man and that requires someone greater than us. The qualifications to change ourselves is as follows; Matthew 5:48, you must be perfect, just as your FATHER in heaven is perfect. James 2:10, Whoever will keep the whole law/commandments (800+) and breaks just one; is guilty of breaking them all. Now most of us are unaware that in the Old Testament there are so many commandments; most of us know that there are only 10 Commandments. And guess what; no one keeps just (1) one of those ten.

But there is such great hope for us; GOD has such a great love for us. This is why HE sent us HIS precious beloved SON JESUS. GOD is merciful, HE doesn’t want to punish us; HE doesn’t want to see us go to hell. That place was not designed with us in mind and we should not want to go there.

GOD loves _____, 1 John 4:8; put your name in the blank space. I have loved _____with an everlasting love, Jeremiah 31:3.

However, although the bible is a love letter to those who trust in JESUS; it’s also a warning to those who refuse to trust in JESUS. GOD said that HE will not clear the guilty; Exodus 34:7. The soul who sins will die; Ezekiel 18:4.

Now dear ones GOD solved this sin problem for us all we have to do is believe what the bible is telling us is true. Believe what people like me is telling you is true.

Let me introduce my beloved big brother to you.

This is JESUS the GOD-Man! In the beginning JESUS was the WORD and the WORD was with GOD and the WORD became flesh and was named JESUS and lived here on earth. John 1:1-14

Now let me tell you some of the things HE did while HE was here on the earth. JESUS died on the cross for you and me; in doing this HE alone paid the full penalty for our sins and then three days later HE rose from the grave in complete in victory.

Unfortunately humans are like sheep; we are easily led astray; we have turned every one of us to our own way and the LORD has laid on HIMself the sin of us all. Isaiah 53:6

GOD hates our sins not us! Please get that through your heads; it’s our actions not us. Don’t you love or like people but don’t like what they do?

GOD hates our sins but because HE loves us so very much; HE placed each and every one of our sins on HIS beloved SON JESUS. CHRIST took them all; if you can name them JESUS took them and even those you can’t name. They were all nailed to HIS precious body on that cross for you and me.

So, now are you ready to take the gift GOD has for you? I would love for you to take the most expensive gift you will ever in your mortal life will ever receive. Are you ready to make the most important decision you will ever make in your entire life? Yes, no, maybe so? Well let me leave you with how to get the gift; what makes you eligible for this great precious gift?

Faith / Trust

This is the key that opens the door to heaven. Don’t use your intellect; meaning that you believe certain historical facts. The bible tells us that even the devil believes in GOD; did you know that he once lived in the heavens with GOD? This is why he believes in him Is.14:12-21. So your confessing GOD or believing in GOD is just not enough.

It’s not enough for us to have temporary faith; meaning we can’t keep crying out to GOD when things go wrong in our lives. When catastrophes in the world happen and so on and we don’t see answers the way we think they should be answered. Then we have no faith; then the next cry; I need money and so on. These are things we should have faith /trust in JESUS for.

So in order to get the correct faith / trust we have to trust in Saving Faith. GOD sent HIS SON JESUS to save us from our sins. JESUS alone is the only Way; Truth and Life; John 14:6.

Believe – Trust in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved; Acts 16:31
