In life there are many choices with the exception of the obvious. None of us has a choice as to whom we are born to; the financial status that we are born in; the siblings we have; where we are born or for that matter if we get to be born. All of that is out of our control with the exception of our financial status. As we grow up we can obtain the education and work according to our gifting that can possibly change our financial status in time from pauper to wealthy. Many centuries ago Adam made a choice for mankind when he gave all of his dominion over to satan. Because of this mankind has been in a downward spiral bound for hell. GOD however made away of escape through HIS SON JESUS. JESUS has made it possible for all of mankind to choose through being forgiven and receiving grace and mercy.
Yesterday mankind had to prove himself faithful by following the laws of GOD which in and of itself difficult. Today mankind just has to believe in JESUS
and do as HE has commanded and that is to love. When you love in purity you don’t desire to hurt anyone through being selfish or disobedient. You are always looking for ways to please the one you love. Unfortunately we are all born sinners and unless we have Godly parents/guardians to teach us the way of salvation we will walk in disobedience longer that we need to. We all make an unconscious choice to live and please satan because he is the father of sin and sin though we are not aware being learning babes comes natural to us; it’s nothing that we must be taught to do. Here are a few examples of what humans usually exhibit at very early ages of life. If you have a child or spend lots of time around children do you remember about how old a child was when you heard the child lie; take something (steal) that did not belong to them; show signs of rebellion by purposefully disobeying your orders? As Godly parents/guardians from the very beginning it is up to us to begin the process of teaching our children the way of salvation. Children will bend to their environment very easily and they are sponges soaking in all they see and hear. It’s easy to know the influence of a child by watching the child’s actions and listening to what he/she say. In John 8:43-47 JESUS explains who our father is from our beginning and how we must choose GOD to be our FATHER. So many people believe that GOD is their FATHER when that is not so; many people are GOD’s creation but HE does not become our FATHER until we accept JESUS. The longer we walk in sin the further we get away from GOD and HIS righteousness. GOD’s way will become foreign and bothersome to us. So how do we become children of GOD? Romans 10:9 informs us that we must confess with our mouth that JESUS is LORD and believe with our heart that GOD
raised JESUS from the dead; in doing this we become saved. However, for me it is important to share the rest of the instruction to salvation. Romans 10:10-13, For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on HIM will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same LORD over all is rich to all who call upon HIM. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” The first thing I want to clear up is that whoever is everyone; no person is left out at all. Jews are GOD’s chosen first but they are having difficulty accepting JESUS so the Word of GOD was introduced to the Greek which means non believer. GOD does not see people as colors as people do; HE sees us as Jews or Greeks. Once we accept JESUS with our heart we stop being Greeks and are now Jews. Remember JESUS is Jewish. Our DNA has now been changed because our FATHER is GOD and because of this transformation we become more and more like HE is daily. Eventually we will begin to see the change in our thoughts; how we view things around us; how we speak and what we desire to do. When we begin to obey GOD’s Word HE begins to make us great in HIS Kingdom because we are Royalty. The KING is GOD and we are either a Prince or Princess
in HIS royal court.
