and MY people on whom MY name is called be humbled, and pray, and seek MY face, and turn back from their evil ways, then I — I hear from the heavens, and forgive their sin, and heal their land.
Right out the gate in this verse of scripture; it’s made clear MY people. This scripture is often mis-used. This scripture does not describe denominations of any type. This scripture does not include non-believers. This scripture is for one group of people and nothing less. You must be a believer in CHRIST JESUS to be known as GOD’s people. I can’t speak for other countries but here in America if you are not a professed agnostic or atheist people proclaim to be Christian. That’s not so; you can’t be a Christian without accepting CHRIST JESUS. You are not a Christian just because you wear a cross around your neck. You are not a Christian just because you attend church every Saturday, Sunday or the night the local church has Bible study. You are not a Christian if you’ve been baptized. It’s not enough to believe in GOD there are too many gods around that are being worshipped by Christians. So the true believing CHRISTians; the one’s that have been born again; saved from the torments of death and hell; those are the ones that are MY people (GOD’s people). The ones who are not ashamed of the gospel and live the Kingdom principles; those are MY people (GOD’s people). All of mankind is created by GOD by being created by GOD does not mean that we belong to HIM. Non-believers are just HIS creation not HIS children. Non-believers are the children of satan; “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do”; Jhn 8:44. JESUS said this not me. I am a CHRISTian and each time I say that I am a CHRISTian I am proclaiming that CHRIST lives in me and I live in CHRIST. I’m not ashamed to name HIM anywhere I go and I will name HIM around anyone. Why not; those who don’t believe in JESUS name whom they want to name any place they want to. I’m learning daily to be humble and pray for this country and the leaders of this country. This is what we are to do; instead of complaining or jumping on board arguing about the next hot topic. True CHRISTians will pray and have their request heard and answered by the LORD GOD. We gain our strength from seeking the face of the LORD. Every minute of every day we must turn our backs on evil. Evil is ever present before us just as it is with anyone else. Just because we are Born-Again CHRISTians; does not mean that we don’t still have evil ways about us. We choose not to adhere to those earthly, fleshy desires. ABBA hears the voice of HIS kids. Do you pray and nothing happens for you? Maybe you need to become a true CHRISTian; the first prayer that you should pray with sincerity should be a prayer of repentance. Tell the LORD GOD that you are a sinner and that you surrender; you believe in JESUS. All that you know and understand for now; ask the LORD GOD to help you and invite JESUS into your heart. Once you do that with a sincere heart and mind; you will become a child of the KING and you will be able to pray and have your request heard and answered. You will be forgiven of your past, present and future. America is growing colder and wickeder by the day; I love my country and I want to see it healed just as much as I want to see a human healed. No one and nothing can cure America but GOD and no one and nothing can repair America but GOD.
