Hope and Praise

Psalm 71:14-16

Let’s be honest with each other here. I know for myself that in my walk with JESUS there have been times when I had no hope and my strength in faith was weak. My hope and strength in my salvation from JESUS was strong. But as far as I was concerned; sometimes when I read the Bible; I wondered if what I was reading is applicable for today or was it just during that time. I’m certain that at least one person agrees with me. For example when I read about healings I desired to see people healed today. Finally, I witnessed divine healing in my own body; then I saw people with death sentence diseases restored; then I knew that healing is for today. My hope and strength in the promises of GOD began to grow. It’s difficult to believe but it’s easy to know. Knowing does not take faith but belief does. This is why we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. We may not witness what GOD has promised to do right away but we will; so we must believe that HE will and can do what HE has promised. Once HE does for us what HE has promised; then we know and knowing does not take faith. See, I expected to witness someone, anyone to be healed of something even if was just a common cold. But the first thing I witnessed was my hand; it was restored from paralysis then I witnessed a man who had aids when it was still considered the homosexual cancer restored. We must not lose hope in GOD; keep expecting to receive because if HE has said in HIS Word that HE has finished something or HE has done something and it’s for HIS kids; believe it. Find your strength in HIM because having strength in us gets us nowhere.
