You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He is a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe ME. He who is of GOD hears GOD’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of GOD.”
Reading the above scripture reference above puts it all in perspective. There is no way around what JESUS is saying. We can always recognize our siblings by their character and what comes out of their mouths. Everyone claims that GOD is their FATHER when in essence that is not true. GOD is the creator of all but HE is not the FATHER of all. GOD is the FATHER of only those who have made a confession that JESUS is the only begotten SON of GOD come in the flesh. If you have not made an open confession of this due to unbelief then the devil aka as satin is your father. So the question is “who’s your baby daddy”? I can and do proclaim without hesitation that GOD is my DADDY; I carry HIS DNA; the precious blood of JESUS courses through my veins and as JESUS is so am I in on this earth. Do I get it right all the time? No, however, I do try because of my faith in and on JESUS. If JESUS said that I’m this than that is what I am. If JESUS said I have that; then that’s what I have. However JESUS describes me to be that is who I am in full. JESUS said that I am forgiven; I take and know that to mean that all of my sins past, present and future is forgiven. I am redeemed because of the spilled blood from JESUS broken flesh. GOD the Most High is my DADDY and because of this I am in love with JESUS. GOD is my DADDY and because of this I am able to listen to the living Words from CHRIST JESUS via HIS Word aka the Bible or from the mouth of the Holy Spirit. There was a time when I turned a deaf ear to what was said about GOD and HIS Word mostly because of sin but secondly because what I heard did not make much sense to me. And the reason it did not make sense to me is because most of what people put on GOD’s front porch has nothing to do with The Most High GOD at all. For instance “GOD don’t like ugly” what’s ugly to you or I is not ugly to GOD because all humans are created in the image of GOD and HE said that HIS creation is good. If you are as old as I am or older you may have heard this being said in a thunder storm; “sit down and be quit GOD is talking or working”. GOD has spoken to me countless times while I was on the move and why must I sit down so GOD can work? HE’s GOD can’t HE work if I’m standing; speaking or doing whatever? GOD is not limited by my doing or speaking. What other idiotic fables have you heard and people said that it was GOD who said or did something? To truly know who GOD is; you must get into your Bible and read about HIM. If, you practice any of these characteristics on a daily basis. You maybe the son / daughter of the devil, Galatians 5:19-21. Only will the children of the devil walk in the desires of the flesh that are written in the scripture found in Galatians. We all don’t want to be lied to yet we lie; how insane is that. My grandmother taught me very young and I thank GOD that she kept her word. She said to me Shawn if you tell me the truth now; even though I may get angry. We can deal with it now and I can forget about it. But if you lie to me and I find out about it later; I will become far angrier. Telling the truth is not bad at all; now I’m not saying that I’ve not told lies to my grandmother when I was learning this lesson as a child because I did. And I’m not saying that I’ve not lied though I’m a child of GOD because I have. But in learning my lesson from my grandmother; not only did she deal with me then and let it go; not to bring it up at a later time but I did not have to remember the lie that I told. When I lied being a child of GOD the Holy Spirit messed with me so bad that I ran to GOD to tell HIM what I said or did. The principle that was applied here is the same principle GOD used on Adam and Eve. Adam where are you? It’s not that GOD did not know where Adam was because GOD knows all; HE see’s all and hears all. GOD wanted Adam to know that he had done wrong and wanted Adam to ask for forgiveness but what did Adam do; he blamed his wife. We have to take responsibility for all that we do and say. So now ask yourself; by my actions, character, integrity and what I speak; am I a son of GOD or a son of the devil?
