Made right with GOD

Ephesians 2:8-9

So many of us believe that we are okay with GOD because we help those who are in need. Attend church; volunteer and so forth. But these and other things that we do that is considered work or pleasure does not cut it with GOD. GOD does not sit in heaven with HIS eyes on you and give us merits for our works. There is only one way to be made right with GOD and there is absolutely no other way at all.

John 14:6 JESUS said to him “I AM The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME.”

Salvation = Deliverance from any penalty associated with sin.  Sin has one payment and that is death. We can do all the kind acts we like; however, not accepting JESUS into our life is a major mistake and all our kind deeds are for nothing. It is better to go all the way with our choices than half the way. If you decide to reject JESUS and do kind acts; you will not gain eternal life from this. If you decide to believe by faith and accept JESUS than your good works will be fueled by your love for people. You are filled with the love of JESUS and your works are done in faith which is not dead. Salvation has never been and will never be something that is earned. Salvation is a gift. When something special happens in your life; you are usually presented with a gift. It cost you nothing but the person who gave it to you paid the price for it. Most people don’t think about what it cost a person to give them a gift; they just take it and say thank you. It’s the same way with GOD; GOD paid an enormous price for you/us. HE gave JESUS, HIS only begotten SON to you/us. JESUS is sinless, HE had opportunities to sin yet HE did not. When JESUS asked GOD to let the cup pass from HIM. This was HIS humanity speaking; HE knew that drinking from the cup which was filled with all the sin of the world in the past, present and future was in that cup. GOD cannot and will not look on sin. This does not mean however that HE does not know exactly what we are doing. HE see’s us doing wrong and HE must turn HIS eyes away from us.
