An inner strength; an ability to continue when all that you hear and all that you see; provides a reason to discontinue an effort. To go against the odds or grain when everyone else has given up and now begin to make fun of you. Where does this ability come from? Why are you called to sometime stand alone in your quest? To the non-believer it maybe that inner drive to achieve when family and friends say that you are nothing that you can’t do it. The need to prove them wrong. To the believer we know it’s the spirit of GOD which resides within that compels us to stand on the Word of GOD no matter what. We have great men and women of GOD who have paved the way for us. We study the Word of GOD; we pray and ask for guidance. We are shown how to walk where most people dare to tread; we are given the words to say that will cause peace in times of turmoil. It’s not easy to go against the majority to look like the fool. In our perseverance we sometimes come to a crossroad where we may have to make a decision to continue on and risk it all or to discontinue and play it safe. In those times when you want to give up, DON’T.
