It is impossible to speak of provision without speaking of the provider of the provision. We are all providers with limited provisions. GOD is the ultimate provider because HE has all the provisions in HIS hands.
When Moses asked; “what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. GOD has not changed; HE Is the same in the yesterdays; HE Is the same in the today and HE Is the same in the tomorrows. When you read the Exodus passages you will notice how GOD provided for Moses and the Israelites even when the Israelites turned from HIM and began to crave for the passions and abuse of Egypt. GOD has not changed as HE provided the provisions then; HE provides the provisions today. What do you stand in need of? Taking a glimpse from the Wizard of Oz/The Wiz; are you like Dorothy? You lost your way and you want to go home? Are you like the Scarecrow (if I only had a brain)? You see the danger everywhere and yet you got entangle by the traps of this world because you did not think. Are you like the Tin Man? Your heart is empty inside; you’ve grown numb; it’s dark; walls have been built up and you are lonely.
My favorite; are you like the Lion? You pretend to be all that; you have this false sense of pride; you talk loud but you are saying nothing. You are really scared; you don’t want to admit it but you know it’s true; you are really a coward. All the provisions that are needed for the entire cast of characters can be found in JESUS.
He who dwells in the Shelter of the MOST HIGH will rest in the Shadow of the ALMIGHTY. Ps. 91:1
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see GOD. Matt. 5:8
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8
When GOD or anyone else has called you to perform a task don’t get scarred.
Don’t be afraid for GOD is with you. Don’t be discouraged for [JEHOVAH JIRAH which means your provider who provides the provisions] GOD is with you. HE will strengthen you and help you; HE will hold you up with HIS victorious right hand. Is. 41:10
GOD has given us everything we need for living a godly life. 2 Ptr. 1:3
Times are tough for everyone; no one is exempt and resources are temporary because resources are limited. We serve a GOD whose resources never run out because HE is not limited. The same GOD who takes care of me will take care of you, if you let HIM. It’s not a comfortable place to be in when you are in desperate need but don’t give up; don’t turn away from GOD. My GOD will supply all your needs from HIS riches, which have been given to us in CHRIST JESUS. Philippians 4:19
