I chose to write about this topic because more than ever before I am noticing that debauchery is no longer an act tucked away behind closed doors as the dirty secret. Debauchery is running rampant with our wee ones as young as 5 & 6 years of age. At that age I was still being thrilled by the prize I found in my box of Cracker Jack.
As much as I like President William Jefferson Clinton; he opened a can of worms by telling the world that “he did not have sex with that woman”. Never in my life have I heard people having conversations about the movie of the week that happens to be porn as much as I do now. What happened to the movie of the week that would come on the local TV channel before cable? Do they still exist? For the kids Disney was a sure thing on a Sunday night.
Never have I heard such conversation going on among the young people about oral sex; anal sex; tri-sex; bi-sex; same sex; masturbation and bestiality as much as I do now. Sin is so strong in the world each generation is becoming more and more rebellious just as the Bible said they will. When I was a little girl I could not wait to become an adult just for the respect alone. We feared the young adults who we thought were old and we respected the senior citizens who we thought were ancient because of the gray hair. We need to stop standing back on our heels asking the question “what is the world coming to”. A few years ago when I was in a bad mood; I overheard someone say that and I said “to an end”. They did not like my answer. But it’s true. However, sin on the earth will never go away and that also is true. What can happen however; is that every CHRISTian all over the world can stop being a sissy and share your faith with others. Don’t beat a non-believer up for not accepting JESUS. Remember, JESUS had a 3 year ministry HE won some and some HE did not win. Also Judas was one of the twelve and he killed himself for betraying JESUS. We can do no more than the following.
1. LOVE everyone; not their sin but the person
2. Share our faith with non-believers
3. Share what we (you) know in the Bible
All CHRISTians should know Psalm 23 and John 3:16 if they know nothing else in the Bible or don’t know where to locate a particular scripture. Life is no joke and we must stop sitting on the side lines as our love ones go skating into hell on a greased up ramp.
Be an example; know that for a lot of people you will be the only JESUS they will see. If you act and speak as they do; then there will be no need for them to cross over.
