LIMITATIONS

What do you think about when you think of what you can do and can’t do?

Do you think of what your possibilities are?

Do you consider what you would like to do?

Do you want to travel outside of your environment and explore new people; places and things (culture)?

This list can go on and on; however, in reality our limitations are very limited. Speaking of self and not being reliant of another’s possibilities; there is nothing that we can’t do to achieve our dream; our goal; our hope and our vision. When we say we can’t it’s a cowards way of placing a limit on self. Our President of the United States of America ran his campaign with “Yes we Can”. He knew that there was nothing impossible for him to obtain. However, for him to reach the highest office or place of employment there is in America. He began with an education and he heard in his home that he can achieve greatness when he put his mind to it. That education peaked an interest in politics; a subject that he began to love and a path in his career. I’m certain that he dreamed and visualized that one day he will be President. He did not consider his culture; his heritage or the color of his skin. Because if he had dwelled on those things in his life that mirrored according to the beliefs of others that he could not obtain his goals. He would have remained in the Senate at best. 99% of those who are jobless; illiterate; stuck in a job they hate; married to the wrong person and hopeless are there because the first training that was received was in the home. You were told that you were something negative; you were not encouraged to pursue; you were told that you were stuck in your environment and that there is nothing better for you and the list goes on.

Well I’m here to tell you that you are an individual who has no limits. GOD gave each of us a choice and with that choice HE turned you in the right direction and told you what to choose. Deuteronomy 30:19

However, before HE said this, HE explained the blessings and the consequences which stand true today. Deuteronomy 28:3-13 (The Blessings) and Deuteronomy 28:16-28 (The Cursings) The best way to read those scriptures are either from a dictionary or a Bible that you can relate to the language such as an Amplified; English Standard; Living or Message Bible. (You can pull those bibles up on-line if you don’t have one)

GOD also said to us that “nothing was impossible” Luke 1:37 and again GOD said to us that “all things are possible” Matthew 19:26 and Mark 9:23

You must realize that you can do all things. Philippians 4:13

There are no limits; one of the biggest accomplishments that America made was in 1969 when man took his first step on the moon. That was phenomenal to us; if you were alive and old enough to know what the big deal was during that time. To me, I like to think that we can still aim for the stars and other galaxies without actually leaving planet earth. And speaking of the 1969 moon walk; I used to think why did GOD allow man to come up toward the heavens and explore unchartered territory? Yet HE confused the languages of those who were building steps towards the heavens. The answers is simple read Genesis 11:4-6 notice how they were first of all of one mind and heart. Then notice that their motives were to bring glory to themselves and to not be divided. GOD noticed what they were doing and even HE said that nothing was impossible for man to do.

That same principle should apply today towards serving GOD together; we all who profess to be Saved; a CHRISTian and a believer and follower of JESUS. We should have one mind and one heart working in love for the betterment of mankind. So I encourage you to stop listening to anyone I don’t care who it is that is telling you that you will never be anything. That you will never leave your community or if you do it’s at most 25 miles from where you grew up. Stop listening to those who continually put you down because of your desire to achieve. Begin to lOOk around you; what is it that you want to become? The next neighborhood drug dealer; a baby’s daddy; a drunk or junkie for some it’s both; the neighborhood hoochie momma (in my day they were called the easy girls). It does not matter where you were born; who you were born to; how you were conceived and born; none of that matter. What does matter is that you stay true to your desires to become the person of excellence that you are. Everyone of us has within us to become the cream of the cream. Nothing is impossible for us. And if and when life becomes overwhelming to you and you begin to think that you can’t go beyond your limits; think again.

All glory to GOD, who is able, through HIS mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20
