Salvation Steps

Step 1 Repent: unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence = hate of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be lost eternally. Lk. 13:3

Step 2 Confess: confess with your mouth the LORD JESUS and believe in your heart that GOD has raised JESUS from the dead; you will be saved for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is madeunto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

Final step, Salvation: you need to know the reason for your salvation. It’s very simple; LOVE. When GOD created man, HE gave man all that he would ever need and want. GOD also gave man rules to live by and GOD spoke to man and they walked together in Eden. GOD no longer was the FATHER of man but CREATOR only. Man has a new father, a corrupt, lying, stealing and murderous father. As each generation lived and died man began to resemble his father the devil more and more. Man began to grow further and further away from The True GOD to serve and worship the false god, the devil. As you read the bible from Genesis to Jude you will notice that today we are doing nothing new when it comes to sin but what we are doing is so dark and has such a stench about us that it’s a recognition that man is closer and closer to the gates of hell. The nonbeliever’s daddy is self absorbed and is only concerned with keeping you from the truth at every cost; he causes man to lie and to legitimize why we lie. The nonbeliever steals and kills just like his daddy. Have you ever taken anything and I mean anything that did not belong to you without getting the permission from the owner? Have you ever said or did anything towards another person that caused emotional death; provided drugs to another for easy cash flow? This is murder. Take a real good look around yourself; what do you recognize about your environment that is a reflection of GOD? Keep silent for fifteen minutes; what do you hear that would bring about a smile to the face of GOD? Our world is cold and heartless only because of the people. So if the reason for salvation is LOVE; then we must come to the understanding of this LOVE. You are written in John 3:16

We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with CHRIST so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with CHRIST we were set free from the power of sin. Romans 6:6-7

What happens to us inside when we accept and take on salvation?

Through JESUS, GOD reconciled everything to HIMSELF. HE made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of CHRIST’s Blood on the cross. This includes you who were once far away from GOD. You were HIS enemy, separated from HIM by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now HE has reconciled you to HIMSELF through the death of JESUS in HIS physical body. As a result, HE has brought you into HIS own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before HIM without a single fault. Colossians 1:20-22

Here is a question that I just can’t seem to understand no matter how many times I hear it. How do I know if I am really saved?

My question to you is how do you know that your parents are really your birth parents? Let’s face it though you had sight and hearing you can’t honestly say that you looked at your mother and father on the day you were born and you heard their voices and recognition from memory settled that for yourself. You can’t even say that it’s because you look like members of the family. I have adopted members in my family who look just like my blood relatives. You can’t even say that it’s because you read your birth certificate. Adoption agencies can provide the adopting parents with a birth certificate where you and they are on the document. You just trust and have faith that you are who your family says that you are. Case closed. Too me; it’s the same regarding salvation. Romans 10:8-11 is also a closed case; it leaves no room for questioning.
