Wednesday’s Vitamin

The LORD will preserve [guard, protect] you from all evil; HE will preserve [guard, protect] your soul.

Cease/Stop trying to keep yourself from evil this is what the LORD GOD will do if you will only allow HIM to do so. Because of your efforts trying to work to remain safe. You are removing JESUS from doing what HE promised that HE will do for you.

The LORD will preserve [guard, protect] you’re going out and you’re coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore [eternally].

What a promise that has been given to us. But because we either are not aware of this promise or our faith in HIM to defend us is either non-existent or weak. We are missing our opportunity to live a carefree life because we are obsessed with troubles. Being anxious, stressed, and worried about situations that most likely we have no control of. If you belong to JESUS know that you are blessed when you go out and when you return now and eternally.

The LORD will protect you and keep you alive; you will be called blessed in the land, and JESUS will not deliver you to the will of your enemies.

Stop/Cease being concerned with what your enemies have planned for you. You are kept alive for a reason. You are blessed in the land where you reside. And you are blessed in the land where you may temporarily work or visit. JESUS will not deliver you to the schemes that your enemies plan for you because you should have put all of your cares with HIM. You have great confidence in HIS protecting you from your enemies.

JESUS guards those who are fair to others. JESUS protects those who are loyal to HIM.

This is where we will need to do a self-examination. How are we with other people, family, friends, strangers, co-workers, student mates, and those that we do business with? If you belong to JESUS, HE will protect HIS own. Our character must reflect that JESUS lives within us so, if this is true then we will be honest with everyone in love, and our integrity will be free from deceit and mild instead of abrasive.

Remember the LORD in everything you do. And HE will give you success.

This is such a simple request, yet most of us find it difficult to accomplish. We think that our success comes from all the self-effort we put forth and all the failures come from GOD for whatever reason. No, it is the other way round, our failures come from all our self-effort and our successes come from remembering JESUS in everything that we desire to accomplish. We have so much to appreciate JESUS for that they are too numerous to count.

All scriptures are taken from NKJV, AMPC, and ICB *I have typed in the name of JESUS and changed shall to will for clarity. I also typed you in the verse to make it personal to you. Psalm 121:7-8, 41:2, Deut. 28:6; Prov. 2:8; 3:6.
