And I have filled him with the Spirit of GOD, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
Is wisdom a person or a thing? Most of us believe that wisdom is a thing; an attribute gotten from GOD since we know that wisdom alone belongs to GOD. But I have some revelation news for you; wisdom is not a thing. Wisdom is actually a person and is most commonly known as the Holy Spirit; Is. 11:2; Eph. 1:17. The Holy Spirits job is to always direct us back to JESUS; to transform our consciences to JESUS instead of anything evil or negative. When we come up against anything that is difficult for us our heart and mind should lead us to react just as JESUS would in this same situation. The Holy Spirit is the actual spirit of the living GOD and when JESUS went to sit on HIS throne; HE did not leave mankind without a helper. As long as JESUS walked this earth in the natural there was hope for mankind. Now that JESUS has done all that HE was assigned to do in the natural HE sent HIS Spirit back to earth to continue giving us hope. To equip us in the fullness of His knowledge and understanding of JESUS. We are capable of doing all manner of workmanship when we put CHRIST JESUS first in all that we do. So just how do we operate in the wisdom of the Holy Spirit? Simple, in the book of James; we are informed to ask GOD when we lack wisdom. Actually James said “if” but let’s be serious we all lack in wisdom so there is no need to beat around the bush it’s not if we lack but because we lack in wisdom that we should ask GOD for the Spirit of wisdom and HE will most assuredly give Him to us liberally. So for those of us who already have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us, the good news is that wisdom is there just waiting to be used. We should activate wisdom everyday so that we can operate in making wise decisions; answer wisely questions that will be asked of us and to carry out the tasks that we have for this day. We will have the ability to do what we know within ourselves we are unable to do because we have not had any formal training. But to those who may have a gift or have been formally trained; nothing will be taken away from your ability. Actually, when you allow the LORD GOD to ignite the Spirit of wisdom within you; your natural and acquired gifts will be enlarged and invigorated for the important work set before you. What better teacher can we have other than GOD HIMSELF. GOD is a wonderful counselor and HE guides us most excellently. So remember each day to activate the Spirit of wisdom which lives in you; you won’t regret it.
