GOD is just. GOD is a holy judge who punishes sin and blesses obedience.
Deuteronomy 32:4 The LORD is your mighty defender, perfect and just in all HIS ways. Your GOD is faithful and true; HE does what is right and fair. [GNB]
Isaiah 30:18 The LORD GOD is no longer waiting on us so that HE can show us HIS mercy. The LORD GOD has already begun to show us HIS mercy through CHRIST JESUS. HE has taken great pity on us all. The LORD GOD will always do what is right and those of us who have decided to place all of our trust in CHRIST JESUS are happy/joyful.
