Are You Pre/Post Dispose to Gossip?

While on FaceBook scrolling through all the postings that hit my page on that current day. I noticed that someone posted the following.

“Let’s gossip about JESUS today, I heard HE is the ALPHA and OMEGA, what about you, what did you hear about HIM”?

It was no surprise to me to read in the comments the repetitiveness of either ALPHA and OMEGA which is written in the post and also means the same written this way LAST and END, this too was written repetitively the SON of GOD.

Why is it that when it comes to speaking about JESUS, people do not know what to write about or speak about unless it is a religious response that we all have well-rehearsed? It is most difficult for many people to speak or write about JESUS from a personal relationship because they simply do not know HIM intimately and personally. JESUS is known religiously through second, third, and maybe fourth-hand knowledge but rarely intimately and personally.  How would you like to know your parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and those you call your friends this way?

Notice how in the above-highlighted caption gossip is used in the text. What does it mean to gossip?

  1. One who runs from house to house, tattling and telling news, and idle chatter of others. [Even if one never enters or visits the house of those, they have idle chatter with their conversation has]
  2. People who habitually reveal personal or sensational facts or fiction about others.

We have all gossiped at some point within our lives whether we hate or love gossiping. Whether we initiate or participate in gossip. I once heard it said that if we are sitting or standing near or with those that gossip, beware, when you leave you will be the next topic of discussion.
